Dave Hemingway (Director) competed in the Silverstone Tyres, Red Dragon MR2 Racing Series event at Cadwell Park this weekend.

After qualifying the Nouveau Lashes supported car on the second row off the grid, Dave maintained his position fighting off strong opposition from the chasing pack of the capacity 32 car grid to finish a creditable fourth overall in the first of two races.

In race two of the weekend, Dave fought strongly on the opening lap to force his way into third position which he held for three laps before a missed gear change allowed one of the chasing pack to slip through and wrestle the podium slot from him. Dave fought hard to regain the spot but the blistering pace of the leading trio was too much and despite setting the fastest lap of the race whilst in pursuit, Dave crossed the line nose to tail with the leading trio but once more scored a creditable fourth overall.
